Mini Oblong Rattan Tray - Kubu

Handwoven, rustic, and authentic oblong rattan tray. The rattan tray is handwoven (and thus not machine-made) with solid stems of Kubu Grey rattan, thus ensuring a great abrasiveness and durability of the product. Due to great variation in the appearance of rattan stems, and by including a mix of both darker, brighter, and spotted stems, a natural look is achieved and no two trays will be 100% alike. The tray is perfect for both storage, decoration, planting, etc.

Kubu Grey Rattan is a bit thinner and softer than CL Rattan (which is used in our other series of rattan products) and, hence, these products are best suited for indoor use. They can easily be used outdoor, however, you should be aware that the durability will be shorter compared to products from our other series in CL Rattan - this is primarlíly due to the difference in thickness of the materials used.

Item measurement: L42 x W18 x H17 cm - appr. 0,5 kg (measurements are based on the outer dimensions of the tray).

As the tray is a natural product, above measurements are with reservations. Reservations are made as the rattan stems will contract differently during the drying process and, hence, the size/dimension may vary slightly. This also means that a rattan stem can occasionally "pop out" during this process. This is to be expected and does not make the tray any worse - if the stem cannot be "stuck back in", it can simply be cut off nicely with e.g. a lopper.

The tray will (once again due to it being a natural product) fade in sunlight. To many, this is considered a positive as it leads to patina and a more silvery/greyish look (like driftwood or wooden garden furniture left outside untreated). If you seek to retain some of the goldon color, this can be achieved by spraying/brushing a clear or tinted natural oil on the product.
